Requirements of the role

As an Indemnity Adviser, you will:

  • review requests to disclose insurer details and will gather evidence, liaise with stakeholders and make rule-based decisions.
  • track, monitor and support firms which have not renewed their professional indemnity insurance
  • manage the quarterly information exchange and engage directly with regulated firms to ensure all firms are properly insured
  • assist colleagues across the organisation who have queries about professional indemnity insurance.

You will be proactive in nature and you will have excellent, planning and prioritisation skills, to work in a constantly changing environment.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience of working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will enjoy a varied and interesting role where you will work closely and collaboratively with other members of the team.

 What we are looking for

  • Relevant qualification and/or significant practical experience of interpreting and applying rules
  • Experience of dealing with queries from the general public (phone and in writing), demonstrating excellent customer focus
  • Track record of delivering results by taking ownership of issues and ensuring successful resolution within set timescales
  • Experience of managing stakeholders to get accurate information from them
  • Pro-active and makes decisions
  • Excellent organising, planning and prioritisation skills
