Citizens Advice + UKRN roundtable: ‘Big data, bigger challenges: how will market serve consumers of the future?’

This event was a unique opportunity for regulators, government and consumer groups to talk about the future of consumer policy, in particular relating to a number of topical questions, including: changing markets, business models and innovations have big implications: how can regulators keep up? How will changes to the way people live, their skills and wider situations affect markets? How can providers adapt to new markets? How can companies use technology to improve engagement? How will firms of the future dispense their responsibilities toward vulnerable consumers?
