Culture and Conduct The Human Resources (HR) Division is made up of a number of expert service teams whose role it is to help the FCA deliver its people priorities. This role sits within the Culture and Conduct Department, which plays a key role in creating a brilliant employee experience and an inclusive working culture for our people.
The Department covers core functions around:
- HR Business Partnering: Delivering a strategic HR Business Partner model which is insight led and adds value to the organisation
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – delivery of the FCA’s aspirations to foster a diverse and inclusive working environment that supports colleagues to be their authentic selves at work
- Employee Voice and Engagement: Creating an exceptional employee experience through ensuring that our colleague voice channels enable all of our people to feel they are involved and can tell us what matters to them most
- Community engagement – leading our approach to how we engage with our local communities
What you will be doing
- Managing the FCA’s community Engagement (CE) Programme to align with the business strategy, supporting staff to engage with their community. Drive motivation and encourage engagement across the organisation
- Manage the graduate and apprentice volunteering programme, “The CEO Challenge” to provide a platform for new recruits to deliver a project in support of the strategy as well encouraging networking and skills development
- Oversee Community Engagement activities including: the Charity Committee, Pro Bono Committee, Board Roles, Consumer Insight events, School Governors Network and Individual Volunteering, ensure activity aligns with our wider CE strategy and feeds into reporting to stakeholders
- Manage external partnerships to tailor volunteering opportunities to meet specific staff needs and skills development, e.g. senior volunteering opportunities, board positions and mentoring
- Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including the Communications Team to deliver the community engagement communications plan
- Line manage the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprentice, overseeing their study and workload and ensuring they are meeting the core learning requirements of their course across their projects
- Managing the annual budget and regular forecasts for CE activities
- Represent the CE Team at internal and external events as required
