The Resourcing and Talent Department supports our People objectives by attracting, identifying and selecting the quality, quantity and diversity of talent required to match our ambitions. The Talent Team is responsible for our overall approach to talent management and all accelerated development programmes up to Head of Department level. We work in partnership with the business to support organisation wide talent management practices.

 

This role will report to the Talent Manager and will be highly visible across the business and HR. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high performing HR division, which will enable the FCA to deliver its priorities by driving cultural change and increasing organisational effectiveness, whilst supporting HR delivery.

 

What you will be doing 

We are looking for a motivated individual who has a passion for talent strategy, internal talent management and development to support colleagues to have meaningful and fulfilling careers at the FCA. You will work in close partnership with a variety of teams within HR and the wider business to ensure delivery of our internal talent strategy and approach.

 

What does the role involve? 

  • In partnership with the Talent Team and colleagues across HR, help embed our approach to talent management. In this context, talent management refers to the activities and interventions that are in place to enable and empower colleagues across all levels to grow their careers with us in line with their aspirations and business need
  • Enhance our offering; review our current focus and embed talent management activities across the business, such as talent reviews, accelerated/high potential talent development programmes and the career progression proposition we offer colleagues
  • Develop strong working relationships with key senior business stakeholders
  • Drive a cohesive approach to talent development across HR teams and the business, including our accelerated development programmes
  • Scope, design and develop an approach to internal mobility
  • Drafting and delivering presentations and executive papers
  • Manage supplier relationships and effectively challenge when necessary
