HM Principal Inspector of Railways

Requirements of the role

We are looking for two Principal Inspectors to join our Mainline South Group or Channel Tunnel team.
One will lead the Channel Tunnel Safety Inspection Team and this role can be based at any of our office locations: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, York or Glasgow. The Mainline South Group role can be based only in York or London ORR office location.

We are looking for two Principal Inspectors to join our Mainline South Group or Channel Tunnel team. As a Principal Inspector, you will provide expert management, support and leadership in the delivery of ORR’s regulation of health and safety on Britain’s railways.

At ORR we have adopted hybrid working and are currently expected to work from a workplace location for a minimum of two days per week.
