The UKRN Young Professionals Network welcomes the 2025-2026 cohort

UKRN’s Young Professionals Network is run by and targeted at early career professionals; with members coming from graduate programmes, apprenticeships, in the early stages of their careers or those that are new to regulation with a desire to network and develop professionally and personally.
After a successful relaunch, the UKRN welcomes a new cohort and two new co-chairs to our Young Professionals Network from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Bar Standards Board.
At the helm of our new Young Professionals Network cohort is:
- Tulki Jenkins, CAA
- Sarah Elulade, BSB
UKRN would like to thank the previous co-chairs Emma Haxell (Payment Systems Regulator) and Dr Niamh Ni Shuilleabhain (Ofcom) for their hard work and wish them continued success in the future.
This network was relaunched for 2025 to enable three new representatives from each of our regulatory members along with associated benefits for our co-chairs which include:
- An opportunity to spend time with a senior member of a regulatory body learning how to be an effective chair as a network lead,
- An opportunity to shadow UKRN networks that are relevant to your internal role,
- The chance to write for UKRN’s website
You will find our new co-chairs reactions below:

“I am very excited to join UKRN YPN, and my focus is to promote and help those where the traditional route into regulation isn’t for them. I came through the apprenticeship route, into the aviation industry then transferring into the regulator.
I’m a huge believer in outside of work training and hobbies, I personally chose to go into the Army Reserve to build my skills, and to develop as a person which brings new skills to my civilian employer. I’m looking forward to working with my co-chair, and the YPN membership to both learn and promote better ways of regulating, and career development”
– Tulki Jenkins, CAA
“As a young professional myself and unregistered barrister, I understand just how challenging it can be to navigate the professional world with limited experience. That is why my priority as Co-Chair will be to instil confidence in our network members. By equipping each other with the necessary tools and knowledge, we can thrive in our regulatory roles and push boundaries beyond them. Together, we have the opportunity to strengthen existing regulatory systems while encouraging innovation within our teams, departments, and organisations as a whole.
The opportunity to work alongside my Co-Chair and colleagues from various regulators will be invaluable. The YPN will provide a unique platform for us to exchange ideas, share feedback, and develop meaningful solutions to the challenges we face in our roles. By supporting one another, we can contribute to the growth and advancement of the entire regulatory community.
I am excited to embark on this journey and look forward to collaborating with like-minded professionals to inspire, support, and drive progress.”
– Sarah Elulade, BSB

The UKRN are excited to work with this group to help enhance their professional and social skills.
If you’re a Young Professional not yet part of the network, stay tuned for upcoming opportunities to get involved, as there are various ways to participate throughout the year.
