The team

The Product Architect role is part of the Product Group and plays a critical role in shaping the overall architecture and service design of the group’s offerings. This includes developing and maintaining the technical product roadmap, ensuring architectural decisions and technical designs align with enterprise-wide strategies, standards and integration patterns. The role also involves providing quality assurance and governance over key architectural deliverables, such as systems engineering documents, to maintain consistency and technical integrity. You will work closely with engineering, security and platform teams to drive innovation while ensuring robust, scalable and compliant solutions.

What will you be doing?

Shaping product roadmaps, including defining scope, prioritization and delivery timelines, while addressing solution design and technical debt

Producing technology and service architecture solutions aligned with enterprise product strategies and ensuring they pass through Design Authorities, considering capacity, ITSCM, data governance, security and licensing

Reviewing and quality assuring artefacts from external suppliers and internal teams, ensuring alignment with business and non-functional requirements

Identifying opportunities for product innovation, shaping design proposals and driving business benefits aligned with the product roadmap

Supporting integration and functional testing to ensure business acceptance criteria and risk management, including security, licensing and capacity risks

Leading and mentoring within communities of practice, providing thought leadership and building architectural capabilities across the organisation
