Senior Programme Manager (Reform)


Requirements of the role

The Senior Programme Manager – Reform, will lead the implementation of the Bar Standards Board Reform programme by; facilitating the scoping and detailed design of the programme with senior stakeholders, developing realistic plans to support multiple strands of deliverables, undertaking robust resource planning, agreeing fit for purpose governance structures and ways of working, and establishing matrix management arrangements to drive progress to time, cost and required quality standards.

The Reform Programme Manager will work in close partnership with the organisational Head of Planning and Programmes to ensure the reform programme delivers the required results.

Key skills and experience required to undertake the role include:

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Proven track record in driving and delivering large organisational change programmes

Excellent programme and project management skills

Expert knowledge of Programme Governance

Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders through matrix structures

Excellent communications skills (written and oral)

Comfortable working to challenging timescales with finite resources
