Requirements of the role
We regulate financial services firms in the UK, to keep financial markets fair, thriving and effective. By joining us, you’ll play a key part in protecting consumers, driving economic growth and shaping the future of UK finance services.
The Internal Communications team sits at the heart of the FCA’s employee experience and organisational culture. We help colleagues understand our strategy and goals, why they matter and what they mean in practice, through clear, timely and engaging communications campaigns and channels.
We partner closely with senior leaders, teams and subject matter experts across the FCA, acting as trusted advisers to support effective colleague communications.
Based within the Communications directorate in Operations, we work alongside public affairs, news, digital and publications to deliver a joined-up and consistent approach. Together, the directorate helps the FCA shape opinions and behaviours to protect consumers and enable a thriving financial services market.
Following recent growth, the team is evolving to deliver more engaging, insight-led and audience-focused communications that support the organisation’s goals.
