Requirements of the role
This is an exciting opportunity to interact with multiple teams across the Directorate, working at pace and collaborating with a variety of other areas of the FCA, the Directorate acts to tackle multiple areas, including financial crime and to prevent harm to consumers.
What you will be doing
Working with Professional Support colleagues you will play a key role in managing the effective running of departments within the Directorate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with colleagues within the teams to ensure the effective running of the department
- Management and regulation of diaries including co-ordinating attendance of external meetings, including meeting room bookings, travel, accommodation, and expenses
- Managing and being accountable for joiner/mover/leaver IT requirements and resolving ad-hoc issues or queries on behalf of the managers
- Working alongside local Personal Assistants (to the Heads of Department and the Director) to manage and coordinate the department’s administrative activities, including ensuring there is adequate administrative cover
