WA Comms dinner with John Larkinson (CEO, ORR)

On 4th December 2025, UKRN hosted a private dinner with John Larkinson (CEO of the Office of Rail and Road), in partnership with WA Communications.

A huge thank you to John for sharing his insights and engaging openly in what was a truly valuable discussion. We covered all the right topics – from rail reform and growth to the broader regulatory reform agenda, with thoughtful contributions from everyone around the table.

Special thanks must also go to Sir Philip Rutnam, who chaired the evening with clarity, balance and excellent stewardship of the conversation. His guidance helped create the space for rich and constructive debate throughout.

And thank you as well to the brilliant team at WA Communications for their hard work in delivering such a well-run and enjoyable event, as well as to all those who attended and contributed to such a productive evening.
