Webinar: The role of climate communications in the transition to net zero
UKRN is delighted to host this webinar with Consumer Scotland, which builds on the findings of their 2024 report on “Consumer perceptions of, and engagement with, the transition to Net Zero“.
The event will explore the approaches required to support and enable effective consumer and public engagement, acceptance and participation in the transition to net zero, including from the perspective of those who are in more vulnerable circumstances. The session will look at the role of good communications in making sustainability personally relevant and emotionally compelling, and highlight the benefits and opportunities, including cost and convenience, that the net zero transition brings to consumers and the public.
Speakers are:
- Sam Ghibaldan, CEO of Consumer Scotland
- David Murray, Executive Director of Sustainability First
- Bea Natzler, Head of Business and People Team of the Climate Change Committee
The panel will be chaired by Sinead Dynan, Head of Consumer and Business Protection for Utility Regulator Northern Ireland.
