Requirements of the role

We are looking for an Administrative Support Officer to join our Assurance and Business Improvement team at the Regulator of Social Housing, working in a proactive and varied role.

Based in our Regulatory Engagement Directorate, you will work collaboratively with other team members to provide a range of administrative support services.  This will include providing support for the Directors of Regulatory Engagement, our ten operational teams and, at times, across the wider organisation. The role can be based in Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds. 

At the Regulator of Social Housing, we are in a period of change and transformation as from 1st April we have extended our remit, giving us additional powers and responsibilities around the importance of safe, decent homes for social housing tenants and of social housing landlords being transparent and accountable to their tenants.  As a result, this is a great time to join us and help us shape the organisation.

Job Description:
You will take a proactive and professional approach, managing and prioritising a varied portfolio of administrative work. This will include document creation and management, providing support to both internal and external meetings, diary management and providing support to our recruitment processes.

Responsibilities:
You will have demonstrated good written and oral communication skills and excellent knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Office software, exceptional data input abilities including proficiency using MS Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook. These will be complimented by your strong interpersonal skills and your commitment to flexible and collaborative team working.
