Are you someone who wants to be part of strategically transforming an organisation?  We’re looking for an Architecture Governance Lead who will implement, operate, and advise on the functions of the design governance framework as well as providing administrative and secretariat support to ensure efficient delivery of the governance function.

 

You’ll have expertise in the operation of technical governance functions as well as strong operational management skills, combined with a passion for operational excellence. You’ll have strong outcome-focused communication and stakeholder management skills. The Architecture Governance Lead is responsible for ensuring that the governance framework operates efficiently, effectively and delivers high quality oversight and assurance to technical, business and service architecture.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and maintain the Architecture Governance Framework, operate, optimise, and maintain effective an efficient Governance Framework
  • Providing an Architecture Governance service to internal teams across the FCA, including planning of governance meetings, provision of agendas, associated document packs, minutes, and completion of actions to ensure effective use of meeting time and an accurate record of discussions
  • Maintaining core governance records including terms of reference, decision logs, technical debt registers and risk registers linked to corporate level risk processes
  • Provide advice and guidance on governance to internal stakeholders that is based on an up-to-date understanding of a broad range of issues, systems and processes, best practice, and frameworks
  • Support FCA Architecture leadership in communicating Enterprise Architecture governance metrics, risks and outcomes to senior audiences
  • Running and managing the FCA Design Governance committees (FCA Design Advisory Group and other design fora) to ensure cross-divisional awareness and consensus
  • Provide support to a team of enterprise architecture senior resources, ensure that the architecture community is well supported with clear communication and processes
  • Build links across the governance environment, ensure that the strands of governance (technical, service and business) are linked in to other governance mechanisms at a corporate level
