Requirements of the role

We have a great opportunity to enhance our centre of expertise for Employee Relations and Experience. The successful candidate will deliver an operational and advisory Employee Relations role, as part of a fantastic team and under the direction of the Employee Relations Principal who is passionate about driving and progressing our positive employee relations environment to the next level.

The right candidate will understand the value an expert function can add, and you will work in collaboration with a wider People Team, to deliver a seamless, value-add service to the organisation.

The ability to partner and develop great relationships with the business is essential so the right candidates will be excellent communicators, stakeholder managers, and will have a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • To manage the effective delivery of Employee Relations (ER) advice and case management support, ensuring consistency of approach across the whole of TPR.
  • To review and refresh, through a continuous improvement lens, and in alignment with the People and Culture Strategy outcomes, ER frameworks, processes, practices, and SLA’s.
  • To use data and MI, delivered from the Case Management tracking system to measure, track, and evaluate the effectiveness of the People Plan and interventions.
  • To use ER MI to inform the upskilling agenda for Leaders and People Managers.
  • To ensure the maintenance and management of HR records is in line with current guidance.
  • To ensure that data usage and management complies fully with GDPR requirements and all internal TPR risk, assurance, and audit guidelines.
  • To work in partnership and collegiately across the whole People Directorate to drive credibility with the business and deliver an excellent customer experience to all TPR people.
  • To take personal accountability in your work, actions, and decisions to consider and evidence, your duty as an HR professional under the Public Sector Equality Duty, and to demonstrate the action you take to reduce inequalities in the workplace.
