Requirements of the role
Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. We’re at the forefront of change across the energy sector, working towards Net Zero while protecting energy consumers, especially vulnerable people.
We’re looking for three Internal Communications Managers to strengthen how colleagues connect, engage and contribute across the organisation. These 12-month, fixed-term opportunities will play an essential role in supporting our delivery of change, strategy, and day-to-day business. You’ll work to deliver internal communications in a way that is engaging, accessible and aligned with corporate priorities, supporting our colleagues to feel informed, valued, and connected with our purpose.
As an Internal Communications Manager, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across Ofgem, building relationships to understand different team’s objectives, challenges and projects. Leveraging your communication skills and creativity, you will develop and execute tailored internal communication plans that engage colleagues, including those supporting significant organisational change.
Job description
You’ll bring excellent communications and relationship building skills to the role, a highly organised approach, and the confidence to act as a trusted advisor to teams and senior staff. Experience managing intranet or digital channels, alongside a proactive and collaborative mindset, will be essential. You can expect to work on organisation-wide change initiatives, targeted communication plans, staff updates and town halls, and process development, with every day bringing new challenges.
