Requirements of the role

We are currently recruiting for an IT Coordinator to join our IT and Digital Services team in a varied and exciting role at the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) for an 18 month fixed-term hybrid role, based out of our Manchester office.

At the Regulator of Social Housing, we are in a period of change and transformation as from 1st April we have extended our remit, giving us additional powers and responsibilities around the importance of safe, decent homes for social housing tenants and of social housing landlords being transparent and accountable to their tenants.  As a result, this is a great time to join us and help us shape the organisation.

With a career at RSH you’ll be joining an organisation that gives you the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives, regulating a sector that houses 4 million people across England.

Job Description:

Working as a key part of our IT and Digital Services team you will support the team by providing flexible and high-quality, comprehensive administration support, assisting in facilitating the smooth and efficient running of services. You will coordinate and manage meetings, taking notes and maintaining logs of actions, developing strong working relationships with colleagues across RSH.

You will manage the email inbox and will take responsibility for the coordination and resolution of IT issues, liaising between parties about any problem IT requests, coordinating the resolution and escalating where necessary.  You will also support the Assistant Director of IT and Digital Services to develop and execute a schedule of security exercises to ensure robust IT security, following up any end-user queries.

Responsibilities:

As our successful candidate you will have relevant administrative experience with excellent organisation and record keeping skills, with a strong eye for detail. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft communications and minutes clearly and to develop key working relationships.

You will also have strong IT skills, with experience of using a range of Microsoft products and will have the ability to prioritise your own workload, managing competing demands.
