Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic Lead Project Coordinator to join our team. Reporting into the Project Manager in this role, you will be the driving force behind our project management efforts, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to coordinate and oversee all aspects of project execution.

Job Description
Lead project coordinators work closely with project and programme managers, assisting them to plan, direct and coordinate defined programmes of work.
The post holder will be critical to the delivery of ICO transformational programmes and strategic projects, providing support to the project management or portfolio office in order to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and ensure that appropriate controls are in place to deliver projects successfully and in line with corporate guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Day to day support to one or more projects using Agile methodologies, coordinating tasks, tracking progress throughout the project lifecycle, and identifying any issues or risks, escalating as appropriate with recommended options on mitigating actions to take.
To support the setting of guidelines, principles, and standards for effective project governance.
Maintain and support the production of project documentation to allow for effective reporting and decision making.
Communicate with stakeholders and project teams including providing advice and guidance on project delivery best practice.
Take responsibility for scheduling and organising project and programme meetings, preparing and distributing agendas and papers in advance, recording, and distributing minutes, maintaining action logs, and proactively engaging with stakeholders prior to and following the meetings.
To help maintain the project and programme risks and issues registers, contributing to the identification of risks and issues, developing response recommendations.
To monitor the use of resources and budget associated to projects, escalating issues as appropriate
To provide any additional support required by the project, for example supporting training or familiarisation sessions or requirement gathering.
Take responsibility for additional project activity where required, such as training, user acceptance testing or requirement gathering.
