About the FCA
The FCA regulates the conduct of 45,000 firms in the UK to ensure our financial markets are honest, fair and competitive. Follow this link to find out more About the FCA.
The Retail Banking division works alongside an extensive network of stakeholders to help drive our FCA objectives and priorities, with a wide variety of banks and building societies. In the Mortgage Portfolio Team, we work to protect consumers and drive forward better outcomes for them. As a Senior Associate, you will use your curiosity and supervisory judgement to analyse data from a whole range of sources to identify potential harm or risks of harm, to consumers or markets. You will need to respond quickly and assertively to investigate and mitigate these areas and work directly with the firms’ Senior Management and Executives to address our concerns.
Working in the Mortgage Portfolio Team, you’ll looking at a diverse range of mortgage lenders and administrators’ business models and you will need to keep up with the evolving landscape. With rising interest rates, the cost-of-living crisis, the implementation of Consumer Duty and a changing market, a number of these firms are in a challenging environment and adapting to changes in consumer behaviour. Work in the Retail Banking department has the potential to be high profile and we are looking to recruit a talented, motivated and outcome focused individual to join the mortgage portfolio team.
