We are currently looking for a number of Regulatory Support Officers to join us at the Regulator of Social Housing.  Join us in promoting a viable, efficient and well-governed social housing sector, ensuring the delivery and maintenance of suitable, quality housing.

Job Description:

As the Regulatory Support Officer, you will support in the delivery of effective engagement with registered providers, carrying out analysis  and engagement to support inspections and, where improvements are needed to support continued compliance, will support in the design of follow-up interventions and provider engagement.

Your role will include supporting colleagues in considering responsive engagement referrals and casework, including co-ordination, monitoring and undertaking less complex casework.  You will also assist in the programming, coordination and delivery of the Regulator’s planned programme of regulatory inspections and responsive work. You will engage with registered providers, developing and managing relationships.

Responsibilities:

As the successful candidate, you will have a sound understanding of the Regulator’s role and will have relevant experience in a housing, governance, risk management or other comparable regulatory environment.  You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, as well as good analytical evaluation skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement and reach conclusions.

You will be able to work across team boundaries in a collaborative and inclusive way and will have a strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
