Job description
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Azure Engineer you will have a strong background in cloud computing, specifically with Microsoft Azure, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, security, and best practices.
The Senior Azure Engineer will work closely with other IT professionals and stakeholders to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure. You will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
At this level, you will:
Design and implement Azure cloud solutions.
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure.
Ensure security and compliance of cloud environment.
Automate cloud operations and workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders.
Optimise cloud performance and cost.
Develop and maintain cloud documentation.
Provide technical support and guidance.
Implement and support disaster recovery and backup solutions.
Conduct/remediate regular security assessments.
Ensure high availability and scalability of systems.
Monitor and analyse system performance metrics.
Collaborate with development teams for cloud integration.
Provide training and support to team members.
