Wholesale Banks – Wholesale banks play a vital role in the global financial system, and addressing conduct risks within this sector is key to reducing harm and enhancing innovation.
Globally, wholesale banks provide access to financing for firms and governments and investment opportunities for retail and institutional investors. Their effectiveness relies on them being fair, appropriately transparent and efficient.
Wholesale Banking Supervision focuses on the regulation of markets and the regulation of the individual firms that make up those markets.
