The Strategy and Planning team ensures every message aligns with the FCA’s strategy and is planned for maximum impact. Through sharing knowledge and measuring results, we refine our approach and elevate our performance. We create and evaluate the annual Communications Plan, ensuring it delivers with precision and purpose.
In this role, you’ll plan and coordinate our external speaking engagements, manage requests for FCA speakers, guide colleagues on which opportunities align with our priorities and advise on how each engagement can amplify our voice and influence.
What will you be doing?
Run the speaker request mailbox, ensuring all requests are accurately logged, tracked and responded to with care and efficiency
Build and nurture positive relationships with external stakeholders, providing thoughtful responses and maintaining strong connections with key partners
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the FCA to explore speaking opportunities, offering supportive communications advice and directing them to relevant training and resources
Facilitate inclusive meetings to review speaking engagement requests, ensuring all communications perspectives are valued in decision-making
Recommend and champion speaking platforms where senior leaders can share insights on priority topics that inspire and connect with audiences
Proactively identify and share upcoming speaking opportunities to support forward-looking and coordinated communications planning
Support the work of the wider Strategy and Planning team
