The Infrastructure Product Group (IPG) is a high-performing, agile DevSecOps team driving the management and delivery of new services into the FCA AWS Cloud Datacentre. Operating within the Technology department’s multi-product group landscape, IPG collaborates closely with scrum teams- including product owners, product analysts and platform managers- to continuously innovate and meet business demands. The team blends engineering expertise with operational roles such as operations analysts and Site Reliability Engineers (SRE), focusing on reliability, transformation projects and standardisation through SSD frameworks.

Alongside these technical responsibilities, IPG also manages contract management, finances and budgets while championing account enablement and seamless integration of technology solutions. What will you be doing?

Guide the SRE Observability Community of Practice, championing best practices, strategic alignment and education across teams

Design, implement and automate observability solutions for deployment, monitoring, incident response and performance optimisation

Ensure system reliability and scalability, driving continuous improvement, high availability and data-driven decision-making

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, development and operations teams to embed observability into system design and processes

Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of ownership, learning and innovation while supporting professional growth

Manage infrastructure and cloud resources, optimising costs, improving operational efficiency and staying ahead of industry trends
