Office for Students joins the UK Regulators Network

The UK Regulators Network (UKRN) is pleased to welcome the Office for Students (OfS) as a Tier 2 member from 1 October 2026.

As the independent regulator for higher education in England, the OfS brings valuable experience and a new perspective to UKRN’s diverse regulatory community. Its membership will create further opportunities for regulators to share knowledge, learn from one another and collaborate on common challenges.

Attricia Archer, UKRN Director, said:

“We are delighted to welcome the Office for Students to UKRN. Its background in education adds a valuable additional dimension to our regulatory community.

“We look forward to the OfS engaging with our members, participating in our professional networks, sharing its expertise and benefiting from the many collaborative opportunities that UKRN membership offers.”

Josh Fleming, Director of Strategy and Delivery at the Office for Students, said:

“Joining the UK Regulators Network reflects our commitment to effective, evidence-informed regulation that delivers positive outcomes for students. We’re looking forward to collaborating with and learning from the network as we strive to deliver exemplary regulation.”

The OfS joins UKRN’s growing community of regulators working together to improve regulatory outcomes and support collaboration, innovation and professional development across the sector.
