Ruth Bailey & Lise-Anne Boissiere – Executive Directors of People and Organisational Effectiveness (job share) have this to say;

“We are really pleased to be joining UKRN. The Nursing and Midwifery Council are the independent regulator for more than 808,000 nurses and midwives in the UK, and nursing associates in England. Our vision is safe, effective and kind nursing and midwifery practice that improves everyone’s health and wellbeing. With that in mind, as an independent regulator and a learning organisation, it is important that we learn from other regulators, share good practice and collaborate closely together to ensure that we offer the best possible service to our registrants, our NMC team and our external stakeholders.”

Attricia Archer, UKRN Director says;

I am delighted that The Nursing and Midwifery Council have decided to join UKRN as a Network member. To have attracted such a high profile regulator from the health sector, really helps to give a very welcome, wider perspective to our already existing  broad membership. We are looking forward to the NMC fully contributing to a number of our professional network meetings over the coming months.”
