Neon Sign with words "this must be the place"

UPDATE: Due to the volume of applications received, the application window will now close at 5pm on Tuesday 4th February.

We are delighted to be running the third year of our successful summer internship programme, for two individuals to experience first-hand what it’s like to work on regulatory policy.

We are looking for people who are eager to learn and serious about building a career at the heart of the UK economy. You will also need to know what we do, share our purpose, and be genuinely motivated to join UKRN.

  • You will learn about our role in the UK’s economy and the role our member regulators play in it, whilst gaining valuable ‘on-the-job’ skills. You’ll join our team and support UKRN in its various areas of work. For examples of the type of work that our interns were responsible for last summer, please see this newsletter.
  • You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more by attending talks and networking events, including at our member regulators.
  • The roles are open to either undergraduate or postgraduate students, and will be a paid position.

For further details about the role, including eligibility requirements and how to apply, please click on the job description below. The closing date for applications is Thursday 27th February, but we reserve the right to close this early, if we reach a significant number of applications. We would therefore encourage those who are interested to apply as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Please note that, due to the significant number of applications received, we will be bringing forward the closing date for applications to 5pm on Tuesday 4th February, so please ensure that you send in your application before then.
